12 Steps
for Clitheroe Directors
1) Use
consistent
and ethical standards for admission. A whole website could be made on
that.
2) When
someone is
banned, tell them they are banned. It's crooked to tell a person to
keep calling, if they are banned. Shouldn't they be told that they are
banned? And why? And don't ban people because you "don't like
them".
3) When
you
expel
a client from treatment, let there be a credible reason. If the client
doesn't understand why they are being expelled, explain
it until they do. If a reasonable person questions your decision, don't
use your authority to negate their reasoning. Have a third party look
at the situation.
4) Don't
make up
charges against clients and staff you dislike. But if you do...
don't put it on paper. If you put it on paper... make sure the person
can't prove you made it
up. If they can prove you made it up, you're fucked. Taco Bell is
hiring.
5) Take
an
Ethics
class at U.A.A.
BOSS?

6) If
your
success
rates are abysmal, try to improve them. Banning any mention of
alternative therapies, like addiction meds, in a
treatment center is unethical.
7) Don't
mess with
medical paper. If you feel it is necessary to falsify or "lose" a med
sheet or chart
page, consult an attorney first. Maybe the 'crime' you are hiding is
not really that serious. If it is, you can have a filing cabinet fire
every six months or so.
8) Be
willing to
learn from your employees. If you were made a supervisor because you
like paper, and you smile a
lot. Don't aggravate people who like to work.
9) Provide
training that is relevant. Stop giving phony
diplomas
for phony training. If you need to nurture someone, adopt an
orphan.
10) Don't
use your
authority to cover your mistakes. It didn't work too well here.
11) Don't
be so
fucking lazy.
12) Don't
call in
sick once a week. It sets a bad example. It gets old when the
supervisors call in sick every week.I never called in sick, so you
couldn't miss me. See how that works?
