On August 9th, 2007 the Alaska Dept of Labor asked the Salvation Army to respond to accusations of corruption at Clitheroe's Detox.
On August 10th, the Salvation Army closed Clitheroe's Detox unit with no warning to anyone. here

As of August, 2008 there has been no investigation, and the corruption in Clitheroe's Residential units remains uninvestigated.
It is high time for an investigation.
The government gave $4,000,000 to Salvation Army Clitheroe in 2007.
